Reduced environmental impact with increased mobility and opportunities.. Customers.
You can make it however you want. There is enough diversity within the industry to allow people to thrive in all different aspects.. What makes Bryden Wood different is that they aren’t afraid to try things.
They aren’t afraid to rip up the rule book and say, ‘Why are we doing it this way?’ That’s what I like.I like the way that they will look at something and say, ‘Right, ok. How can we make this better?’.Also, with the DfMA aspects - making sites safer, making it so that pieces of the F frame for example...are lightweight and can be easily put into place (that it can be built like an IKEA piece of furniture on the deck and lifted in), that’s what I like.
I like the way that we don’t say no to anything.'.ROSA GIMENO, DIRECTOR, ARCHITECTURE.
‘I think that finding women working in construction now is much more normal than it was years ago, especially in the architecture sector.
Here at Bryden Wood, there’s no differentiation at all.In 2012, Bryden Wood and GlaxoSmithKline started working together to try and come up with a different approach to pharmaceutical capital projects.
We started from the premise that while a great deal of effort was expended by a lot of expert people within both pharmaceutical and engineering companies, and despite the significant sums being spent, capital projects often failed to meet business requirements. And how could we do better in our approach to pharmaceutical facility design?.
We developed a particular set of tools and an approach that over time became what we now refer to as Design to Value. As we have evolved this approach over the years, we’ve extended it to include many more pharmaceutical engineering projects, as well as a wide range of other sectors, from heavy industry to prisons.. Part of our role is to act as pharmaceutical plant design consultants.
